2003 Neil Ellis “Sincerely” Sauvignon Blanc

Neil Ellis and partner Hans Peter Schrober started their enological revolution in 1989. The pair purchases grapes from vineyards that they have selected for outstanding quality of fruit. Neil then proceeds to use the experience he gained at KWV and Groot Constantina estate to make the superlative wines that are labeled under his name. The Sincerely Sauvignon Blanc has a wonderful acidity that is supported by a cast of tropical fruit flavors that linger on the palate, with a clean, zippy (acidic) finish. In the words of one of our tasters, “This is definitely one yummy wine.” Perfect as an apéritif, with appetizers, chicken, or New England’s delicious seafood.
