Vinous 88 points - (50% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay and 20% pinot meunier; LLAJCD05842): Light, bright orange. Fresh redcurrant and strawberry aromas are complemented by notes of orange zest and anise. Brisk, mineral-accented red fruit flavors are slightly pinched but gain depth with air. Finishes with a bitter blood orange quality and firm grip.
Wine Spectator 90 points - Fresh and creamy in texture, this offers a lightly smoky overtone to the flavors of strawberry tart, pastry cream, grated coconut and ground spice. Drink now through 2018. -AN

Wine Enthusiast 90 points - This is a beautiful, full rose that is rich and shows a fine balance between acidity and fruitiness. This bottling is also mature with toastiness coming through, giving a softer, rounder character. There is weight, and great acidity on the finish. (Dec 2013)
The base blend is identical to Brut Yellow Label, with an addition of 12% of red wine from vineyards in the Montagne de Reims. A luminous color with attractive pink glints, an elegant nose with initial aromas of fresh red fruit leading to brioche notes
