The nose bears caramel notes with a delicate stone-fruit backdrop. A robust and sturdy palate with some fine leather notes mingling with dry tobacco, a touch of oak and a hint of dried cherries. The finish is smooth and calming.
Exquisite and delicate aromas of baked cherries, ripe stone fruits, orange blossom accompanied by suggestions of vanilla and brioche. In the mouth, the brioche and vanilla take the reigns followed by heavy notes of brown sugar and honey. The finish is long, composed and smooth maintaining the flavors found on the palate. Fantastic. Named after the McAfee brothers who surveyed a site just north of Frankfort in the late 1700s, this rye recipe bourbon is yet another label that honors the storied history of the Distillery and the land it sits on.
|More than just a spirit, more than just whiskey, this bourbon is a tribute to all that is uniquely American - a celebration of our country's rugged history, its fight for freedom and independence, and the fierce pride governing its heritage. Inside each bottle is the essence of courage, a sense of adventure, a quest for the unknown and a thirst for discovery. This is the legend and legacy of our rich ancestry, captured and embodied by Buffalo Trace Distillery.
