Ultimate Beverage Challenge 93 points - Tangy aromas of cherries and strawberries have a touch of floral sweetness to them on the nose. The crisp bubbles play on the tongue as the bright citrus and red fruit flavors mingle with toasty brioche yeastiness. (Jun 2016)
Wine Spectator 90 points - This subtle rose is notable more for balance and fine texture than the quiet flavor profile of ripe currant and berry fruit, candied kumquat, biscuit and ginger. A note of smoke-tinged minerality chimes in on the finish. Drink now through 2019. -AN

Vinous 90 points - (roughly 45% Pinot Noir, 35% Pinot Meunier and 20% Chardonnay, with 9 g/l dosage; LAH9V): Dark, vivid pink. Ripe red berries, rose oil and tangerine on the nose, plus a subtle note of toasty lees. Bitter cherry and berry skin flavors give way to softer raspberry in the middle, with a tangy blood orange nuance adding cut and lift. Packs a punch but shows very good clarity and delineation, finishing round, smooth and quite long.
Wine Enthusiast 88 points - Salmon colored (and salmon would make a good pairing), this sparkling rose has deep flavors of toasty oak and black fruit, along with a swath of sweetness on the finish. (Dec 2013)
Rose Imperial is a seductive champagne with coppery shades and fruity liveliness. The Pinot Noir brings flavors of ripe, red berries and a supple, creamy finish.
