Ultimate Beverage Challenge 93 points - Marked by fresh cream, butter, and honey roasted peanuts on the nose with underlying fresh melon, peach, and golden raisin. The palate is decadent, full-bodied and rife with tropical mango and oaky flavors. Buttery and rich on the finish. (Jun 2016)
Wine Spectator 88 points - Complex for the mix of toasty oak and butterscotch notes, fresh and vibrant if a bit raw in texture. Drink now. 5,300 cases made.

For her signature white varietal, Gina chose Laguna Ranch Vineyard in the Russian River Valley, both because of its terroir and the special significance it holds for her. When Laguna Ranch was an apple orchard, Gina’s grandfather Julio often picked fresh apples there for his wife’s legendary apple pies. He later purchased the property and transformed it into a Chardonnay vineyard. Gina relished the opportunity to share this special place through a very personal Chardonnay that reveals a subtle hint of apple on the palate. Grapes from our Del Rio Vineyard add a pleasing acidity to balance the richness in the wine.
