Wine maker notes
There is power at the heart of this Syrah. A Syrahso aromatically seductive you will have a hard time keeping your nose out of the glass! This wine shows a spicy nose with blueberries, a touch of regaliz and hints of tar. Our Syrah comes from the Elqui Valley. Its semi-arid climate, moderated by a cooling breeze from the Pacific Ocean, provides a great environment for a cold weather Syrah. This region is known for having one of the clearest skies in the world, which brings a very intense luminosity during the day, helping the vines on a more efficient photosynthetic process. 25% of the wine was aged in new French and American oak barrels for 5-6 months, while the rest of the wine was kept in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruity aromas and the unique character of this region. This wine shows a deep ruby red colour and a spicy nose with plenty of berries. Its structure is very well balanced with the softness of the tannins. An elegant wine with a unique personality.
