Wine maker notes
Composition: Macabeu 30%, Xarel·ló 50% and Parellada 20%.

Elaboration process: The three varieties are harvested, crushed and fermented separately in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature, coupage in November, tirage and second fermentation in the bottle typical of the 'Méthode Champenoise' for a minimum period of two years before the aclarado, degüelle, corking and labelling that takes place before it reaches the customer.

Our winery dates from the eleventh century, to which the Romanic chapel bears witness. In the mid nineteenth century don Pablo Parellada de Naveran, of noble origin, established a solid base for wine making. Over its long history, the Naveran House has maintained its character as a family business.

Our vineyards, which cover an area of about 100 hectares, are situated at the heart of the Alt Penedès, an excellent area for the production of wines and Cava, and it is here that the white and black Penedès grapes grow and ripen. Furthermore, we have introduced the Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties with excellent results. We have the capacity to produce 1 million litres in stainless steel tanks and 500 barrels of French Oak from the Limousin.
