With their long wine-growing tradition, the Marsura family - whose local nickname is Marsuret - has been producing wine in the Valdobiaddene hills since the founding of the company in 1936 by Agostino Marsura in the village of Guia di Valdobbiadene. Marsuret’s mission is the true passion for cultivation of family-owned vineyards and the production of world-class Prosecco and Prosecco Superiore. The Marsura family owns 111 acres of vineyards that are found scattered throughout the most prestigious areas of the DOCG zone: Cartizze, Col San Martino, Guia, Premaor, Rolle, Zuel, and Le Serre. Each location is special and each vineyard produces wines with different characteristics. Exposure, microclimate and soil characteristics make the quality extraordinary in each wine. Perfumes, aromas and bouquet express the fascinating peculiarities to the specific situation of each vineyard. The grapes are harvested manually, with picking usually starting in mid-September and lasting about one month. Richer in style, the Millesimato Dry comes from precipitous hillside vineyards producing very fruity and fragrant wines.
Wine maker notes
The fresh mountain air from the San Boldo pass comes down to our vineyards and slows down the ripening process. This gives the grapes an acerbic quality that makes them ideal for producing Brut. The bouquet is delicate and lightly aromatic with an elegant complexity reminiscent of golden apples. With hints of wild flowers, the flavour is intense, dry and fresh. This wine has a fine and persistent perlage.

Technical notes
(100% Glera). Made in the Metodo Italiano/Charmat Process, the still wine undergoes a secondary fermentation in stainless steel bulk tanks and is then bottled under pressure.

Food pairing
Ideal as an aperitif and perfect with all kinds of fish dishes

Producer
The Winery The company founded by Agostino Marsura is still in Val de Cune in Guia di Valdobbiadene in the original buildings which, over the years, have been expanded and improved so that today they house some of the most advanced technology helping them to guarantee quality while caring for the environment. The winery is almost hidden from view sitting among the family’s vineyards in the most prestigious areas of the DOCG zone: Cartizze, Col San Martino, Guia, Premaor, Rolle, Zuel and Le Serre. Mission A genuine passion for quality wine cultivation forms the base of the Marsuret company mission. The family aim to increase production by expanding the number of vineyards they tend with their traditional care and attention so as to produce wines which improve in quality year after year. The Family In 1980 the younger generation started to work for the company. Giovanni, Valter and Ermes grew up among the vines and inherited a wealth of knowledge and understanding while learning the values the family hold so dear. This new generation, as well as being proud heirs to the tradition, have brought about significant changes, an evolution of the family ethos with new production techniques and careful research so as to guarantee faultless products from every point of view. Their success has been proven through many awards, especially for their Sparkling Prosecco wines and Superiore di Cartizze.
