Vinous 90 points - The 2010 Fiano di Avellino comes across as intensely pointed and mineral, even within the context of this wine. Seashells, crushed rocks, minerals, grapefruit and white flowers are some of the notes that are woven into the wine’s mid-weight, focused fabric. Ideally the wine needs another year or two (or more) in bottle. -- Antonio Galloni  (Jun 2011)

Wine maker notes
Love of one’s job, careful selection of the grapes, respect for wine-making techniques and the supervision of a skilful and vigilant oenologist create a Fiano wine with the intense and fine aromas of ripe fruit and lime blossoms.

Producer
The Romano Clelia Winery lies on the old farm in Arianiello. The wines are all produced from grapes picked exclusively from vines belonging to the vineyard. The vines are tended to by every family member with the help of competent professionals. From the cultivation of prestigious Fiano and Aglianico grapes is born a quality wine, in limited quantities, the fruit of meticulous winegrowing and winemaking practices and scrupulous selection. The result is a superior quality product, which made a name for itself on the market straightaway and is appreciated in Italy and abroad today.
